Our Story

Becky Houpt, founder of TINT the RANGE, LLC, was contacted by a local female shooting instructor to participate in a TV news interview. The interview focused on women becoming the #1 fastest growing sector in gun ownership and the importance of education and training. Having limited experience with shooting or handling a firearm, Becky hesitantly agreed to join in. Her interest quickly peaked as she furthered her education and skills.

She joined a woman’s shooting league and became an NRA Range Safety Officer, assisting with range safety during events. She realized the importance of quality safety gear, but additionally heard the need for colorful safety options from the league members. Becky wore a pair of quality safety eyewear to an event and instantly it became a hit, especially in the color purple! TINT the RANGE was created!

Expanding her product line, TTR Safety Products added the options of Safety Eyewear with your Prescription, Safety Eyewear choices for Men, Women & Youth, Custom Molded Hearing Protection and Mobile Eye & Ear Clinics. TTR Safety Products provide customers with quality custom safety products with the added convenience of our mobile clinic services.
